I'm Victoria, and welcome to my site. I have been in the industry for 9 years, starting lashes when my second son was just 6 months old.  I was on maternity leave from the NHS, where I was a manager, and thought "now is the time to pursue my own business venture." Having completed my degree in business, I knew exactly how to broach creating my own. The lash market wasn't as saturated back then, and there was a niche for technicians. I did my research and trained in classic lash extensions with Nouveau Lashes under the Nouveau Beauty Group in London.  

 

The first thing I thought on my course was WOW this is harder than I anticipated! Holding tweezers, gluing the lash to the natural lash and positioning it correctly, let alone isolating it! However, after perseverance and constant practice, my lashing skills blossomed and I qualified.  

 

I had been told about  LVL whilst training, which was a great alternative to extensions, so I revisited London to qualify in this area.  I was still working for the NHS, setting up my beauty business slowly and being a Mum to my two sons.  I knew anything was achievable with good time management, motivation and positivity. With my skill set, and the passion I had for lashing, my client base grew rapidly. I made the scary decision to leave the NHS to work full time on my business - I was booked up back-to-back.

 

I continually expanded my knowledge, introducing new treatments to my clients regularly. I have always loved the quote "the first business asset you should invest in is yourself". Which is exactly what I did. I trained in HD brows, Let’s Go Lashes, Wispy Lashes, Semi Permanent Makeup, Dermatude needling, Dermaplaning, Sienna X spray tanning and Waxing thereafter.  I still hold these qualifications and revisit them often, but my dedication to lashes has always superseded other beauty treatments.  

 

That’s why I have now  taken my business to the next level to open a 1-2-1 Academy to support those who want to follow in my footsteps. The academy means that I can teach and share my experiences of lashes, to educate and mentor those with similar ambitions.  

 

I am so proud of my progression, every day building foundations for the future and I am excited for what is to come.  I thank all my loyal clients and supportive family and friends, who have helped me to get to where I am today.
